My name is Clara Marchese and I am a Graduate Electronics Engineer at AVIRE.

I studied MEng Electrical and Electronics Engineering (with Computer Science) at University College London and graduated in September 2024. In my second year I had an internship experience in the defence electronics industry that enhanced my knowledge in embedded electronics and project management capabilities. During my final year I worked on a fully-software based team project, which consisted in designing an AI Python chatbot tutor personalised for the students of a python module in my degree, further developing my programming skills and knowledge of generative AI products.

I joined the AVIRE team in September 2024. I was drawn to AVIRE because of its commitment to growth and innovation. The company’s forward-thinking approach and desire to embrace new challenges really inspired me.

The part of the job that excites me the most is the opportunity to continuously learn and grow in a supportive environment. AVIRE’s culture of curiosity and collaboration allows me to be creative, push my boundaries, and tackle complex problems alongside experienced engineers that share the same passion for innovation.

I have primarily been involved in designing and developing software testing equipment for the AOR and am looking forward to contributing to upcoming projects such as Pana40 Plus, AOR and SmartView2.
