As passengers enter or exit the elevator, the closing doors can pose a potential hazard, leading to injuries or even fatalities. Door malfunctions are a leading cause of elevator downtime, resulting in costly repairs and inconvenience for building occupants.

Our patented elevator door detectors, also known as light curtains or safety edges, act as protective barriers across and around elevator doors. When an approaching object, like a passenger, interrupts the sensors, the doors automatically reverse and re-open to prevent accidents.
