My name is Clara Marchese, and I am a Graduate Electronics Engineer at AVIRE.

I studied MEng Electrical and Electronics Engineering (with Computer Science) at University College London, graduating in September 2024. During my second year, I gained valuable experience through an internship in the defence electronics industry, which enhanced my knowledge in embedded electronics and project management. In my final year, I worked on a fully software-based team project, designing an AI Python chatbot tutor personalised for students in a Python module, further developing my programming skills and knowledge of generative AI products.

I joined the AVIRE team in September 2024, drawn by the company’s commitment to growth and innovation. AVIRE’s forward-thinking approach and embrace of new challenges truly inspired me.

What excites me most about my job is the opportunity to continuously learn and grow in a supportive environment. AVIRE’s culture of curiosity and collaboration allows me to be creative, push my boundaries, and tackle complex problems alongside experienced engineers who share the same passion for innovation.

So far, I have been primarily involved in designing and developing software testing equipment for the AOR and am excited to contribute to upcoming projects such as Pana40 Plus and AOR SmartView2.
